Our amazing leader, Casey is a true golden girl. Growing up in idyllic Noosa she started cutting her sister and friends' hair - to her Mum’s horror! Since then she has been in the industry for 17 years, now she has created a workplace like no other, Maverick Art & Hair provides a place for visionaries, and good vibes. She recognises talent and supports both emerging and established hairdressers, which is the backbone of a dynamic salon with a family feel. Her skill and positivity seep into the team ethos everyday, making her the best boss in the business.

Director Stylist

Sydney-born and bred Laura has a well-established place within the world of hair, having been in the industry for eight years, although this vocation began years before when she spontaneously cut her friend's bangs in high school. She brings her extensive knowledge to Mavericks, allowing everyone to flourish around her and be inspired by her wise ways. Her ageless attitude is infectious; she loves seeing the cycle of fashion and trends come and go - the rise of the humble mullet in particular.

Master Stylist

The lovely Lily originates from Melbourne but has undoubtedly found her feet with us at Maverick. Her creativity is unending, as is her ability to recognise individual clients' needs and expectations. With a soft spot for textured shag cuts and timeless balayage, her spice for life doesn't stop there; she adores a spicy marg alongside a chilli-laced dinner at Lightyears or exploring a local waterfall adventure - she is a breath of fresh air and a true asset to our team.

I was inspired to pursue hairdressing by accident actually, it kinda found me as cliche as that sounds haha but I’m in love now and never going back

I have been in the industry for 6 years and I would say my signature is bright creamy blondes and elevated natural colours ⭐️

I am neither a lollie or chocolate girl my weakness is a cheeky Diet Coke 🙊

My best tips for maintaining healthy hair is invest in the right products for you hair, ease up on the hot tools and take your vitamins! Your hair will be at its healthiest when you body is too goes here

Senior Stylist

A.K.A Sards has always followed her heart to become a highly coveted hairdresser. Her laid-back approach to life is infectious, and she is a pro at putting us all at ease in the salon (even on the busiest days!) Her true talent comes through when organizing photoshoots and experimenting with new looks and techniques. When not at Mavericks, you can find this beach babe sitting in the ocean on her surfboard or sipping on a pina colada.

Emerging Stylist

The great Jake had a change of gear in his career, and lucky for us, he chose to shift to the hair industry. Joining us just under a year ago, he has proven his unique eye and a great capacity to keep evolving with fresh styles and skills. Jake is incredible at putting a smile on everyone’s face; his speciality? Volume - he will never pass up the opportunity to create a big and bouncy blowout or make a bloody mary, and we are here for it.

Emerging Stylist

Meet our beautiful soul Harry, one of Maverick’s emerging stars. With an innate love for hair that began in his childhood. Harry loves that you can completely change the way someone feels by changing their hair, weather that be a new haircut or a fresh colour. In my spare time you’ll find him at the beach relaxing with his favourite people, paired with jalapeño margarita!
