Northern NSW Artist Tesse Terrell debuted her first solo exhibition ‘Death Collection’ and guess what?.. It was also Halloween!!
Inspired by her lifelong passion for Mexican culture and arts, Terrell draws inspiration from the Mexican Dia de Muertos, commonly known as Day of the Dead, and presented a curated line-up of artists that passed away during 2016 and 2017.
A passionate painter, Terrell’s first solo exhibition expanded on her signature style, a combination of painted timber and mixed media, finished in a 3D setting. Each artist is completed in infinite detail and depth, credit to Terrell’s fine style and attention to detail.
Leonard Cohen, Prince and David Bowie are part of the 20-piece collection that celebrates these iconic artists. Terrell’s portrayal of each artist is authentic, light-hearted and voices true respect to the talent they were and clearly represents the impression they’ve made on her as an artist.
Tesse Terrell’s Death Collection exhibition ran from 21 st October to November 4th with an almost sell out show! Congratulations Tesse.
'Grounding' is the second solo exhibition from Cabarita based landscape painter, Dylan Cooper.
The series features his characteristic representation of rock formations but there has been a shift. Light floods dark places and a vibrant colour palette allows us to see the playful side of otherwise intimidating compositions.
Grounding takes a tour around the Giraween National Park, Queensland. Dylan uses multiple layers of mixed media on canvas. His pieces range from moody and desolate to vibrant and even calming. He allows light to play through the scene even in the darkest of settings. Through the use of palette knives, bold brushstrokes and rendering, he creates scenes that are texturally rich.
Dylans works invite you to pause and take in the scene as a whole, but also to step in and discover the secrets these monolithic formations hold.
Please join us for the Opening Night; 30th September from 6-9PM
Beverages will be supplied by Burleigh Brewing Co

A few images from our last opening night Michael Motteram-Smith (Shmick). Great crowd and a great evening of unique artwork by this young artist. Thanks again - Burleigh Brewing Co. for the refreshments and support.
Michael Motteram-Smith (aka Shmick Creations) is a freelance artist from Northern NSW, specialising in large scale murals, illustration, visual art installations and digital design. Through many years and long hours of practice and persistence Shmick's unique style of painting and illustration has really come into its own. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and his work has begun to be recognised internationally.
Following years of perfecting his craft, Shmick's painting is a form of meditation. He channels great thought and creative energy into each piece, showing people something they may have never seen before. He does this through some of the most visually impressive graffiti pieces we’ve seen in a long time, using vibrant colours and shapes to explore deep into his imagination.

OPENING NIGHT // Saturday April 22nd / 6.00-9.00PM
Paul Parker is an original and unique Gold Coast painter, living only just around the corner in Tugun. He delves his art between the figurative and the subconscious through mixed mediums. Pushing and pulling paint whilst listening to heavy music that inspires his work along the way.
My work is the transportation for my escape... a process of filtration, sifting through memories, lyrics and terrain... all unbound as passed through my eyes, ears and internal dialogue... in mediums that are chosen in part through automation and in part through exploration of materials… As a keen purveyor of the heritage of mark making, my work evolves and revolves around practise based research. My compulsion is to form; consumption can only be for the interpretation of the viewer.
