One Year of Maverick with Casey

It is hard to believe that a whole year has flown by for the new ownership of Maverick Hair & Art. It has been one hell of a year, reflecting upon all the challenges thrown our way that we have overcome and how we have arrived stronger. Lockdowns, border closures…the list goes on; it's been tough on everyone, and the resilience and loyalty shown by our staff and clients has been nothing short of incredible.

It’s not easy to know exactly where to start; I am overwhelmed with the progress we have made as a team at Mavericks, not only on a local biz but also on an industry level. We adapted and got creative. We collaborated with the amazing girls at Moosh during COVID. I am forever grateful for this - we even made it on the news!

The collective creativity is a daily inspiration making it simply, an awesome place to be. I am so proud of my team and over the past year, there have been some huge life goals met: babies have been born, two of the girl’s have brought their first homes, and we also had a super special engagement.

We are a family at Mavericks so every celebration is a communal one! Thank you to everyone who has been part of Maverick’s journey so far. Our brand is ever-growing and I am incredibly excited for what is to come.
